Twylla Suiter

Twylla L. (Locke) Suiter, age 87, passed away on May 4, 2022 at Parkwood Village, Pratt, KS.  She was born on Mar. 19, 1935 at Liberal, KS., the daughter of Clifford and Goldie E. (James) Locke.  She was a homemaker and life-long resident of Macksville, KS.  She attended the Brown-Mackey School of Business at Hutchinson, KS.  On Aug. 2, 1953, she married Rollin “Bud” Suiter at Macksville, KS., he passed away on Nov. 13, 2021. Twylla was a member of the Macksville Christian Church, Christian Women’s Fellowship, Red Hat Ladies and served many years on the Stafford County Election Board.  Survivors include her daughter, Tamara Harrell, Hutchinson, KS.; a son, Randy (Debbie) Suiter, Macksville, KS.; a sister, Donna Jo James, Hutchinson, KS.; 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Suiter and a sister, Judith Lynn Locke. Visitation will be on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 1-7 P.M., Friday at Minnis Chapel, Macksville, KS., with family present from 1-3 P.M.  Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Macksville Christian Church, Macksville, KS., with Pastors Jacob Russell and Tom Walters presiding.  Burial will follow in the Farmington Cemetery, Macksville, KS.  Memorials may be given to the Macksville Public Library Building Fund and the Macksville Christian Church in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS  67576.
