Brenda (Osborn) Staub

April 1, 1961 – February 20, 2025

Brenda Lee Staub, age 63, of Wichita, KS, passed away on February 20, 2025, after an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was born April 1, 1961, in Stafford, Kansas. She was the daughter of Charles ‘Alan’ and Janey (Partin) Osborn. On August 8,1981, she married Kim Staub in St. John, KS. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2022. Together, they proudly raised three children: Rachael (Paul) Weber, Wichita, KS; Brent (Alex) Staub, Wichita, KS; and Brett Staub, Manhattan, KS. She adored her two grandchildren, Jett and Jaci Weber. Also surviving her are a brother Ed (Lori) Osborn, Macksville, KS, and sisters Virginia (Dale) Hearn, Stafford, KS, and Bobbie ‘Susie’ (Craig) Weaver, Rutledge, TN, along with many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Alana, who Brenda donated a kidney to so that we were able to enjoy Alana’s presence for a decade more of her own short life. Brenda was compassionate, funny, and selfless. She will always be remembered as a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and friend. Visitation will be Sunday March 2nd 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm with family present at Minnis Chapel 526 E. 4th Ave, St. John, KS. Memorial service will be at the St. John Church of Christ, 609 Pearl St., St. John, KS, March 3rd 10:30 am with Carl Feril presiding, followed by family graveside inurnment at the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, KS. Memorials may be given to the Flint Hills Teen Foster Camps or Silver Maple Camp in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS. 67576.
