Gayle Edward Kent Sr.

Gayle Edward Kent, Sr., age 68, passed away on December 18, 2024 at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita, KS. He was born on October 27, 1956 in Stafford, Kansas, the son of Donell LeRoy and Annabelle Lucille (Steele) Kent. He was a Truck Driver.

Gayle was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Army Reserves until 1981.

On August 3, 1974 he married Margarita Garcia at Stafford, KS.

He is survived by his wife Margarita, St. John, KS; a daughter Annabelle “Annie” Kent, Wichita, KS; a son Gayle Edward Kent, Jr., Andover, KS; three brothers, Melvin, Sacramento, CA; Gary, Clifton, CO; and Brad, Hutchinson, KS; 5 Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leroy and Roger Kent, and a sister, Jane Hearn.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2024 at Minnis Chapel, 526 E. 4th, St. John, KS 67576 with Zeboriah Carter officiating.
