Harry Cotton, Jr.

Harry Cotton, Jr ., age 93 passed away Aug. 16, 2014 at Stafford County Hospital, Stafford, KS. He was born Jan. 26, 1921 in rural Stafford County, KS, the son of Harry H. and Jane (Bradley) Cotton. A life-long resident of Stafford County, he was a farmer/stockman and graduate of St. John High in 1938.
On Nov. 19, 1940 he married Tilda June (Hager) at St. John, KS, she survives of the home . Other survivors include a daughter , Olive L. Bartlett (Vernon), St. John, KS; two grandchildren , Lory Scott (Jeff) and Vicky Mansel (Jon). Three great grandchildren , Michelle and Gina Mansel and Cheyenne Scott. He was preceded in death by three brothers, William, John and Kenneth Cotton.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, with Terry Sallee presiding. Visitation will be from 1-7pm on Tuesday with family present from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
