Judith (Judy) Crawford Barber. Always a morning person, Judy, at the age of 83 years, remained true to form by relinquishing her life on earth at 12:25 AM on November 30, 2019 to take up residence at her new address in heaven. Judy understood the love and gift of salvation and she extended that same unconditional love to the people around her. Her oft quoted Bible verse, Romans 12:12, exemplified how she lived and died: "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer". As such she leaves behind a spiritual legacy to her children and their families: Bill and Tracey (Sheppard) Barber, Joshua Barber; Katy (Barber) and B.J. Ludwig, Jalmer and Holly Ludwig; Megan (Barber) and Patrick Carmody, Emma and Nathan Carmody; Ed and Marie (Burfield) Barber, Elisa and Caitlin Barber. As a devoted wife to James Donald "Jay" Barber for 61 years, she died with him by her side. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11:00 on Monday December 16, 2019 at Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, Kansas. Please meet at Minnis Chapel Funeral Home for a processional to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to one of the following causes that were near and dear to Judy's heart. 1.
