RosaLee Ford

RosaLee (Hathaway) Ford, age 90, passed away on Oct. 12, 2021 at her home in Kinsley, KS.  She was born on Aug. 2, 1931 at St. John, KS, the daughter of Robert Thomas and Lovina Belle (Weibling) Hathaway.  She was a professional cook and resident of Kinsley, KS since 1951.  On Sept. 1, 1951, she married Merle LeRoy Ford at Kinsley, KS, he passed away on July 17, 2019.  She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Kinsley, KS.  Survivors include two daughters, Trudy (Bob) Burnett, Kinsley, KS, Debra Ford, Kinsley, KS; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ford; a brother, David; sisters, June, Jesse, Dollie Belle and Lillie; a grandson, Darin Burnett and a great grandson, Jarin Hughes. Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at Minnis Chapel, St. John with Pastor Barry Rodriguez presiding.  Burial will follow at the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John, KS.  Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Prairie in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O.
